Joe 90
Hi I’m Joe 90 and welcome to my profile page on the Radio Cabin website.
About Me
Firstly let me tell you a little bit about me. I’ve been involved with radio for many years now. It all started for me at my school when I was introduced to the school radio station. I suppose like most people in the industry I got the ‘radio bug’ and just loved everything about it. I did hospital radio when I was still at school plus I was lucky enough to get work experience at both BBC Radio Kent and Invicta FM. I have also taken part in a few RSL’s (Restricted Service Licence) stations in the past to. Doing everything from making the tea to reading the news to erasing used cart tapes! I think I’m showing my age now.
I first joined Radio Cabin in 1992 before having an 8 year gap and returned in 2007. Since coming back, I have loved every single minute.
When I returned in 2007 it was just before the station was due to go on FM for the Herne Bay Festival. I was given the opportunity to present a show on a weekday evening. The show was called Herne Bay @ Nite. We thought it was appropriate considering the show was in the evening across the whole of Herne Bay!
